Questions

Clinician FAQ

Is there a cost to work with Ivy?

No. Our services are free for clinicians. Employers who hire through Ivy pay our fee.

I'm still a student. Is it too early to reach out?

Not at all. Many clinicians connect with us during their final year of training. Starting early gives us time to understand your interests and line up conversations ahead of graduation and certification.

Will my current employer find out I'm looking?

We never share your profile, resume, or contact information with an employer without your permission. You decide which opportunities you want to pursue.

What happens on the intake interview?

It's a focused conversation, usually about 20 to 30 minutes, covering your specialty interests, clinical training and experience, compensation expectations, preferred locations and schedule, and your timeline. It's also your chance to ask us anything.

Do I have to accept a role you present?

No. There's no obligation at any point. If an opportunity isn't right, tell us and we'll keep looking.

Which roles do you recruit for?

We currently focus on clinical positions for physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and physicians, including those finishing residency or fellowship. Full-time, part-time, and per diem roles are all possible depending on employer needs.
