About Ivy

Built by people who work
inside healthcare.

Ivy Recruiting was founded in Los Angeles by healthcare operators who saw the same problem from both sides: practices struggling to find the right clinicians, and talented clinicians struggling to find the right practice.

Our story

Talent was right in front of us

Every year, physician assistant and nurse practitioner students complete clinical rotations across Southern California. They learn alongside experienced clinicians, care for real patients, and show exactly what kind of providers they're becoming.

Then they graduate and disappear into job boards, where that context is lost. Employers see a resume. Clinicians see a listing. Nobody sees the full picture.

Ivy was created to keep that context intact. We get to know clinicians early and personally, and we use what we learn to make introductions that make sense for everyone.

Ivy grows by holding on to what's around it. So does a good career: rooted in strong training, supported by the right team, and given room to climb.

What we believe

Our principles

Know the person

We talk with every clinician before we recommend them, and with every employer before we send a candidate.

Honest numbers

We set clear, realistic expectations on compensation and timing from the start.

Fit over volume

A few well-matched introductions beat dozens of mismatched ones.

Discretion

Clinician information is shared only with permission and handled with care.

Our focus

What we do, and what we don't

We focus on

  • Clinical roles for PAs, NPs, and physicians
  • Students, new graduates, and experienced clinicians
  • Practices and healthcare organizations in Southern California
  • Long-term placements where both sides can grow

What we're not

We're not a job board, and we don't mass-distribute resumes. We don't share a clinician's information without permission, and we don't push candidates toward roles that don't fit their goals.

Let's talk.

Whether you're looking for your next role or your next hire, we'd like to hear from you.
